I've been a flickr member for 14 years.  A lot of water has passed under the bridge in that time.  Many dear and beloved flickr friends are dead and gone.  My health has deteriorated so that I am currently no longer able to ride my beloved motorcycle, Melissa—she languishes in my garage just shy of 114,000 miles on the odometer.  I am on oxygen more frequently.  A dear friend is suffering in Ukraine because of the war.  I haven't been as active on flickr for the past few years as I once was.  I've been busy with my worldwide clientele as a psychic reader; published two award-winning books and I'm writing a third; I have been interviewed over 100 times in the period of a year and a half, including eight appearances on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory.  But of late it has dawned on me just how much my art and photography means to me, and how much I've missed both sharing my own and discovering others wonderful works here on flickr.  Art is a healing force, and a necessary light to combat the darkness this old world can offer.  So I am becoming more active on flickr again, although it's bittersweet:  much of the community of friends, many of whom I considered like family, are now dead, or in such ill health they are no longer able to participate, or have just lost interest and moved on.  But a few old friends are still around, and I cherish you greatly!  It's nice to have this artistic community, especially as my mobility hinders my ability to get out and about and enjoy artistic endeavors in person.
