Torre del Reloj en Plaza del Ayuntamiento Mula

            La Torre del Reloj.   Leventada en flanco norte de la plaza, frente a la Parroquia de San Miguel, de color azul y con una cupula de ceramica vivriada,la Torre del reloj fue un elemento importantisimo para la vida agricola en la villa de Mula. Representa ademas la problematica que siempre ha ofreciado la escasez de agua en estos territorios. Su funcion ere la de marca las horas y los cuartos con sus campanadas de tal manera que se escuchasen en gran parte de la huerta ya asi el agricultor sabia cuando debia tomar el agua para el riego. Desde 1550 esta documentada la existencia de una torre en la Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Mula. La torre actual se construyo de ladrillo en 1806 tras derribarse la anterior, que quedo muy dañada tras las lluvias de San Calixto en 1651
