            Headless/Half Dinosaur on 476 in Brooksville, Florida

* Created by August Herwede after seeing the 1964 World's Fair dinosaur exhibit.

* Mr Herwede created and finished several smaller detailed versions of dinosaurs in his yard.

* The smaller dinosaurs he created were sold off, leaving this unfinished one.

* Mr Herwede fell from the scaffolding while working on this dinosaur. There are two tales regarding what happened next:
     (1)  He died right away from the fall (some say breaking his neck) [not likely]
     (2)  He never recovered enough from the fall to climb the scaffolding again [likely]
   In either event he died at the age of 80 in 1967.
