Gulf Oil Stake Truck / Delivery Truck

            
1941-1946 Chevrolet Gulf Oil Company Truck.  Most likely used to deliver drums of oil and lubricants to Gulf Dealers / Gulf Gas Stations. The bed (and modern sign) is certainly not original but the rest of the truck is. The Gulf logo on the doors is correct for the time period for this truck.  The original bed would have most likely been only two or three boards high and painted blue like the fenders.  It is in horrific shape but still provides a nice glimpse back in time.
