Incidental Portrait Week, Thursday - The Religionsts

            I seem to have accumulated a bunch of pictures of strangers this year. Don't worry I'm not turning into a weird voyeur, it's just an unavoidable  effect of being a trigger happy serial snapper and having a zoom lens!

It's not every day you see a 17th century priest in conversation  with a contemporary monk in a ruined nunnery. (Sounds like the basis for a bad joke). I wonder if it was a deep metaphysical discourse on the enduring appeal of God across the ages. Or is he just saying, "Looks like rain again."?

Taken at a local fete, held at the priory,  this Summer. The priest is part of an English Civil War re-enactment and the monks from the nearby monastery had a honey stall.
