Lockeed SR-71 Blackbird Spyplane - a photo on Flickriver

            This was the first time I was not bored while waiting hours for a flight at an airport. Just 5 minutes from Washington DC's Dulles International Airport is the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. It is worth the trip! 
I actually saw this plane fly overhead in Sedalia, Mo as it was coming in for a landing at Whiteman AFB. It was returning from a mission I would assume because the following day the B-2's had bombing runs in Iraq.  It was by far the loudest thing I have heard in the air.
