La Tribuna de la Casa de Juntas de Gernika ("The rostrum of the Parliament of Gernika")

            La tribuna para la jura de los mandatarios se encuentra en el exterior, en medio de un jardín. Consiste en un soportal de ocho columnas de estilo corintio, en el cual se encuentran los asientos de honor del Señorío, de las merindades y del corregidor. En el último siglo y medio, el Roble de Gernika ha estado en la parte delantera de la tribuna. Era un retoño del roble histórico que llevaba plantado en la Casa de Juntas desde 1859, pero se marchitó en la primavera de 2004. En la parte trasera de la tribuna, se encuentra el tronco del Árbol Viejo. En la actualidad se guarda dentro de un templete circular, rodeado de columnas. Dicho templete se colocó ahí en 1929, en sustitución de una urna de cristal.

"The rostrum for the oaths of the agents is outside the Parliament, in a garden. It’s a neoclassical building with 8 columns with the honour seats. During the las 150 years the oak of Gernika has been in the front of this building until its death in 2004. Then it was substituted by a new oak that it was growing up in the back side of the building. An older oak is in the garden in a template since 1929"
