For much of this trip I'm flying blind. I just go where I'm taken, and have a blast :)

On the 30th of Dec,,I was told we would go and feed some fish at a river. FUN!!!

We take off, and we stop at the side of the road where there are these buckets full of live fish.

OMG we're going to buy them and eat them???
That was my first thought. It turns out that these fish are bought from the markets where they are destined for someone's plate, and they are brought here where people can buy them and then release them into a river.

We were told the fish were 70baht per kilo. I was trying to work it all out, when i saw one of the guys emptying one of the buckets into a sieve, and going off with the fish. Boone tells me that he has asked how much for the whole bucket. We end up buying the two full buckets of cat fish and one full bucket of pregnant water snakes.

The guys that sell them deliver them in bags to the river, where we can release them, along with what seems to be a 20kg bag of some sort of pellets.
