            Een wel heel precieze afstandsaanduiding naar de waadplek. De waterstand is nu laag, maar de huttenwaard vertelde dat een week eerder het water veel hoger stond. En om de hut te bereiken moet je altijd door het water aangezien er geen brug is.
De hut is op de achtergrond te zien.
(‘Vad’ heeft dezelfde oorsprong als ‘waden’.)

A rather precise distance marker to the wading spot. The water level is low now, but the hut warden told us that a week earlier, the water was much higher. And to reach the hut one has to wade through the water as there is no bridge.
The hut can be seen in the background.
