A Great Start - a photo on Flickriver

A Great Start

            A perfect start to the new year. An early night on Hogmanay meant I was feeling fresh as a daisy yesterday so after a big run and a big walk, I headed out to photograph the wild weather. I have a few shots of big breaking waves going over the breakwater but I just loved the moody atmosphere and colours in the sky in the few minutes before sunset. This moment didn't last long at all so I was glad to have managed to capture it. What a great way to get the cobwebs of 2018 blown out of my system! This is Portknockie harbour in Morayshire, Scotland.
