002 - Foster Gass & The Six Golfers

After losing his wife 35-year-old Davida Gass in November 2014 to pancreas and liver cancer, and with encouragement from David Moon, Ben Waters, Jason Avery and Ross
Whitelock, Darren Gass along with Davida's father, ex-Aston Villa football star Allan Evans, decided to arrange a 24 hour Golf Marathon to raise funds for CLIC Sargent
who helped Darren & Davida during their son Foster's prolonged treatment for a life-threatening tumour that was diagnosed when he was only three months old.

Davida had thrown herself into supporting CLIC Sargent by way of thanks for the support received, so now Darren along with family and friends have pledged to continue
her work to raise funds for the charity, this will include yearly events similar to this one.

The 24 hour Golf Marathon teed off on the Kernow Course and play continued non-stop for 24 hours with the last 18 holes being played on the Nicklaus Course, the final
putt was holed by seven year old Foster.

A barbecue was hosted by St. Mellion International Resort outside the Nicklaus Bar and a raffle held afterwards to raise further funds for CLIC Sargent.
