            An ADL Trident/Enviro 400, new to ADL as a demonstrator. 

Despite  still carrying a slightly altered Ensign of Purfleet livery, this vehicle was operated by Cherry of Bootle when photted employed on the Chester rail station-city centre shuttle service, Rather ironic, as when it was with Ensign it would have probably seen regular employment on rail replacement duties around Essex and beyond.
