A pleasant side effect of traveling alone as a photographer is that you come into contact more quickly with people, some of whom you just feel a click with. On rare occasions, real friendships are formed with some of them. 

An amazing example of this side effect occurred to me while shooting the Eiffel Tower on a very early, rainy morning at Palais de Chaillot. A beautiful young woman named Flaviana approached me to take photos. She had to catch a flight to São Paulo, Brazil and only had a few hours left to visit some highlights of Paris. A 'few' photos eventually resulted in several photoshoots in different locations around the city. A café and a croissant could not be missed too.
It became a morning that I'll remember for a long time.
