MULE DEER DOE - a photo on Flickriver

MULE DEER DOE

            This was one of two mule deer does encountered in the canyon who had made it through the winter. In the roughly four miles of canyon traveled, three mule deer fawn carcasses were seen along the the road reflecting the the severity of the past winter. The north rim of the canyon borders on a big game wintering area..
