The Shas Chevra Lubavitch Shul (Synagogue) and the Budapest Yeshiva is located in the VI. district, Vasvári Pál utca 5. (off Király utca) in the courtyard.
Built in 1887
Architect: Fellner Sándor
Lyubavitsh (Russia): the village is primarily known worldwide as the namesake and former headquarters of the Chabad-Lubavitch branch of Hasidic Judaism.

Vasvári Pál utcai imaház (zsinagóga) és tanház
A Vasvári Pál utca 5. szám alatti udvarba rejtett épület 1887-ben épült Fellner Sándor tervei alapján. Eredetileg két földszintes ház közé emelték, így az utca felől is látható volt. A templom a Budapesti Talmud Egylet számára épült. A zsinagóga köré U alakban épült lakóházat a közösség tagjai lakták. Életformájuk különösen indokolta, hogy lakóház és templom szerves egységet alkosson: a férfiak számára a tanulás volt a nap legfontosabb tevékenysége, egy életen át. A zsinagógát az 1990-es évek elején felújították, azóta a budapesti Chábád Lubavics közösség imaháza és tanháza. A templom stílusjegyeit tekintve változatos: neogótikus, korai szecessziós és neoreneszánsz jegyeket ötvöz.

Lubavics orosz falu elsősorban mint a Chábád Lubavics haszid zsidó irányzat névadójaként ismert.
