A Place For Everything - a photo on Flickriver

            This is an old shot, taken with my Olympus E-500.

I've worked for a variety of outfits in my time and one of them happens to be the American Red Cross.  I was a Computer Tech for the folks who did the blood drives that are held every day to replenish blood supplies at hospitals across the country.

While I was there they did a major overhaul of the software that was used for blood collections on these drives.  What this meant for me was that I had the opportunity to crisscross the country with a group of educators and set up all the training classes that were held.  

I didn't do any training/educating (which is probably a good thing), my job was to set up and tear down all the equipment for the training sessions.  Once everything was set up and verified to be working right I was able to sit  back and watch the show until something went wrong with the equipment which was not regularly.  

I guess I was something like a roadie for a band, set everything up, sit back and watch the show, then tear it all down and head for the next location.  It was a lot of fun while it lasted.

This shot was taken in Kalamazoo, Michigan which is a really nice little town.
