This One Is For You Frank - a photo on Flickriver

            Frank would be Frank Michael Stewart, aka Frenchy, a nickname he really didn't like at all!   

It was April 2009 and I was on a flight from New Mexico to Oregon, headed to a funeral I never expected.

My brother called and told me that Frank had passed away.  He was just 46 when he passed, two years younger than me.  When you're 46 you're supposed to have your whole life ahead of you, not thinking about dying but thinking about what lies ahead.  

I booked a flight once I knew when the funeral was supposed to be and packed my bags, still in shock with the idea that Frank wasn't around anymore.  We were roommates, we were friends, we were brothers and we were going to live forever.  It's still a bit surreal to think that he's not around, being the Frank we all knew and loved.

I was looking at some old photos when I came across this.  This shot was one of those screwing around on the plane sort of shots, definitely not planned.  I didn't even realize that the lady i caught was looking at the Obituaries until I took a second look.  Maybe she knew something that I didn't know at the time.
