This is a hold up

            City Hall Auditorium panorama - ground floor.

The scaffolding is holding up the domed roof of the auditorium. According to a rigger I was talking to, they've had to use all aluminium scaffolding, because regular steel would have been too heavy and fallen through the floor.

On the other side of the scaffolding there's a stage and associated facilities, including where one of the largest and best pipe organs in the world once resided. They've taken that out while they rebuild the place.

This was stitched from 5 images, all taken at 10mm (hence the less than perfect stitching) - it's BIG in there - just doesn't look it....
