Dutch transport bike detail - a photo on Flickriver

            Details of a Batavus Transport Bike photographed with the Carl Zeiss Hasselblad CF 5.6 250 mm Sonnar Superachromat from 1996 wide open on Sony body handheld, IBIS on. The 250 SA once was developed by Carl Zeiss end of the 70ies for scientific tasks. It was the first lens which was asolutely corrected for all colors between 400 and 1000 nm wavelengths (this includes infrared) in a unique way, means further more than an apochromatic lens nowadays.

Das 250 SA wurde in den 70iger Jahren von Carl Zeiss ursprünglich für wissenschaftliche Anwendungen entwickelt. Es war das erste Objektiv, das für alle Farben im Wellenlängenbereich zwischen 400 und 1000 nm auskorrigiert wurde , was den Infrarotbereich beinhaltet, d.h. es geht über die Korrektur eines heutigen Apochromaten hinaus.
