BY THE LAKE NEAR MY HOUSE in the POCONO MOUNTAINS of PENNSYLVANIA -- Saying Goodbye Before Heading Back to OKINAWA

            My Travels in the USA are almost over. 

Although here for work, and not for play, I must admit that it's quite an idyllic setting to come and go about ones business.

The few days of scenic travel  and adventures with my daughters (in DC, Virgina, and Pennsylvania) were the highlight of my stay, along with getting to spend time with siblings, nieces and nephews here in the Pocono Mountains.

Today, the whole village where I've been living had their summer picnic on the private lake that forms the centerpiece of the community.

Perfect weather, great fun, good food, and fine fellowship. 

It was a good way to end my trip, in the company of the above-mentioned friends and loved-oves  who live up in this neck of the woods.

Now, time to start packing for the long trip home...  to Okinawa, Japan.
