Sunset at the Red Valley (Explored) - a photo on Flickriver

            The sun is setting in the Red Valley of Cappadocia, not far from Göreme. Cappadoccia has some wonderful deep canyons and unusual rock formations. This place is a much sought after viewpoint at sunset, because you can get the panoramic view of the whole valley in front. It's called the red valley because the rock formations sometimes take on a reddish color at sunset.
