On a clear day ... - a photo on Flickriver

On a clear day ...

            ... the Newcastle coast was resplendent today after heavy rain showers overnight and this morning. The view is essentially the same as in the image next door >> showing Bar Beach, Newcastle looking southwards towards Merewether Beach and beyond. The base image was taken using a Full Spectrum Modified Pentax K5, with a KolariVision IR Chrome filter attached to a smc PENTAX-DAL 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 lens. After initial processing with Photoshop Elements, a B&W version was created using NIK Silver Efex Pro.
