Himalayas from Ramgarh (PB1_5739-HDR)

            View of the Kumaon Himalayas from near Ramgarh, Uttarakhand. The sun, finally out after days of despair, bathed the snow clad mountain range in a hue of golden yellow.

During the rain deluge in Kumaon in October, 2021, we were at a homestay near Ramgarh and were stuck there for three days. On the fourth day, the rains finally subsided in the late afternoon. As the dark cloud cover cleared from the hills, we got a view of the Kumaon section of the Great Himalayas beautifully lit up by the sun.
