Green-Backed Tit (PB2_6374) - a photo on Flickriver

            Green-backed Tit bird near Hotel Eagles Nest, Dharamkot, Himachal. 

I spotted this bird when I was at the nearby Nag Temple looking at the mighty Dhauladhars and ruminating. It flew in and perched on a bush right next to me. It was so close that I had to take a few careful steps back to get it in focus on the tele-lens. 

This uncommon colourful little bird is found in a thin strip all along the Lower Himalayas and further from Central Asia and into South-East and East Asia.
