Devil's Garden: Sign - a photo on Flickriver

            While staying in Escalante, Utah, on our way to hike in one of the Dry Fork slot canyons, we turned in when we saw the sign for 'Devil's Garden' -- weren't sure what we would find, but what we found was magical!

Devil’s Garden, located along Hole-in-the-Rock Road in Utah’s Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, contains some of the area’s most recognizable rock formations, including Metate Arch, Mano Arch, and the whimsical figures known as the Four Wise Men.

We explored the arches, hoodoos, and oddly shaped monoliths simply by wandering at will among the rock formations—there are no marked trails there, simply a collection of interconnected footpaths that one can follow at leisure. (12-03-22-7186)
