Spiel und Schach (04) - a photo on Flickriver

            Analogaufnahme 2001.

Die fotografische Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig. Aber der Aufwand für neue Aufnahmen (digital) war mir zu aufwändig. Vielleicht werde ich einzelne Teile (Holz roh und bemalt) später doch noch aufladen.

Zur Herstellung dieses Spiel-Schachs ermunterte mich 2001 Gerard Ifert, Lehrer für Gestaltung am Centre Pompidou in Paris. 
Alle Teile habe ich selbst hergestellt, vom rohen Holz bis zu den bemalten Teilen und Figuren.
Um die "Spielidee" richtig zu verstehen, sollten alle 5 Bilder angeschaut werden.

Die ganze Arbeit kostete mich damals einige hundert Stunden. Herr Ifert wollte das Schach-Spiel damals "vermarkten", aber allein die Herstellung eines Prototyps von einer Spezialschreinerei wäre auf Fr. 5000.- gekommen. Und das Spiel wäre viel zu teuer geworden.
Trotzdem erfreue ich mich an meinem Unikat. Ich habe viel gelernt dabei.

Also, allows quickly viewing any Flickr photo on black background in large size.
