Peeling back the years - a photo on Flickriver

Created for Saturday Self-Challenge - A New Year's Resolution.

I don't normally have new Year's resolutions, however, I certainly do have one this year. As some of you are aware, my brother and I rescued my father's 1970 XJ 6 last year, from a slow and crumbling death - Dad had sold her to a friend back in 1973, and he had driven her until 1994 and then simply parked her in his garage, and forgot she was there! Anyway, a 2500 km trip later, Noel and I fetched her and brought her back home, where we are currently doing a major restoration, and THAT is my Resolution, to bring her back to life again BEFORE Christmas this year!

Top picture was taken in our front drive when she was new - bottom picture is us working on her now.

There is some Glitch on Flickr today and I cannot get into groups or comment on photos at all - HIGHLY frustrating!!
