Dunstanburgh Castle Beach - a photo on Flickriver

            Looking towards Dunstanburgh Castle from the north side. The beach here is strewn with large rocks and if you're a geologist then this is a place where you can spend hours looking at the rocks. If you can view the image full size then you'll note the cliff edge heading into the sea, horizontal rocks then stacked on top with vertical columns of stone - very interesting, well I think so anyway. Oh and also for scale, there's someone treading carefully along the rocks.
