Reflections of an early Sunday morning on the ceiling of the Berlin Hauptbahnhof

            This is a view of the curved glass roof of the Berlin Hauptbanhof during the relative quiet of this busy railway station, the largest crossing station in Europe, during the early hours of a Sunday morning.

Designed by architect Meinhard von Gerkan, Berlin Hauptbahnhof , or Berlin Central Station, is the main railway station in Berlin, Germany. It began full operation two days after a ceremonial opening on May 26, 2006. It is now Europe's largest two-level railway station.

A unique feature of the roof is that a photovoltaic power system is integrated into the glass panels.
