Livaniana Taverna's proprietor, Tilman Roemer, on the Greek island of Crete

            This quirky and out-of-the-way establishment perfectly reflects the character of its extraordinary proprietor, Tilman Roemer. Some customers claim this to be the most relaxed place in Crete. It is renowned for its extensive digital music collection and impromptu jam sessions performed around its pink piano.

Livaniana is a small hamlet of Crete perched on the top of the edge of the deep Aradena Gorge. The Livaniana Taverna and much of the hamlet enjoys a spectacular view overlooking Marmara Beach and Finix Bay with the Libyan Sea stretching beyond.
