Linaria triornithophora purple - a photo on Flickriver

            The three-birds toadflax. If you look closely at the flowers they do look a bit like little purple budgies, but there's a lot more than three per inflorescence. 
This species has the largest flowers of any linaria that i'm aware of - more like an antirrhinum with a tail.
