Brugge at Christmas - a photo on Flickriver

            Brug Square and Brugge City Hall at dusk. This gothic structure was  built in the late 1300s making it the oldest town hall in Belgium. In the corner to the left of the tree sits the Basilica of the Holy Blood a Roman Catholic minor basilica originally built in the 12th century. 
Sometimes you find yourself in the right spot at the right time. The light hadn't quite drained from the sky and was a gorgeous deep blue. The Christmas tree with its matching blue lights added to the atmosphere as did the reflection from the rain soaked cobbles. A magical scene! Let me know what you think.
