Late Autumn Morning - a photo on Flickriver

            The conditions for photography were excellent yesterday morning. It was a classic late autumnal morning, with thick mist sitting in the river valleys and crisp sunlight across the higher ground. I took this image in the area of Beech trees in Granby Wood on Longshaw Estate in Derbyshire. The mist was clearing but there was just enough left to create some magical shafts of sunlight through the last of the turning leaves onto the orange woodland floor.
