Conservatory-arch+moon-2_3061 copy - a photo on Flickriver

            Night photography will start again at Copped Hall in November - the dark hours start too late for many at the moment.  However, a short sortie last night with a clear sky and no wind was a perfect occasion to start getting in some practice.  I'm just starting to look out some dates for the winter of 2016/17.

Set-up: Canon 24-105mm at 32mm, iso 100, f16, 1 minute - lower exposure moon superimposed to give some impression of texture.  Front face sprayed with beam from portable spot.
