Behind The Scenes: A Message of Hope

            This message reaches us from a small rural village near the Thai-Cambodian border - from a young Buddhist lady, a mother and a friend - you may know her as 'ChinaGirl'. She appears in my photos from time to time. She has consulted a holy man to peek into the future and she has a message of hope for her family and friends. I have asked her, and she has given me permission, to share with you, here within the Flickr community.

"Trust and have faith... Good things are coming to us. I wish you to be better. Amen."

Irrespective of our own beliefs, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, I express the hope that we can all agree that it is a beautiful message for these difficult and troubling times. She wants to share this message and I for one thank her. 

It says more about her than I could ever express. Sincerity and natural kindness. 

I wish I could tell you what all the markings and symbols mean. But I am fairly clueless (as per usual). I will endeavour to find out more. 

Isn't it fascinating? And beautiful?
