The Faces of Meramees - a photo on Flickriver

These are three of the reasons that I will stay at the Meramees Hotel if I ever return to Cairo. The staff know what they're talking about, they're friendly, and there's no pressure to sign up for "special deal" tour packages. In addition, the rooms are clean and the bathrooms sparkle. If cleanliness is next to godliness, these people must be saints!

Please note that if you're using the Lonely Planet guide, they've got the hotel marked on the correct street, but on the wrong side of the street and one block west of where it actually is.
