Special:
- Don't be confused this W 25 K Sportwagen with the W 25 K (Roadster). There are 258 built, the last series of 37 without supercharger.
- This "Sportwagen" was the closest competitor to the BMW 328.
- Since 1932, Wanderer was a part of Auto Union and therefore had access to an engine, designed by Ferdinand Porsche.
- This engine had twin Solex carburettors, a Roots-Type Supercharger (by Gery) and a four speed gearbox (manual).
- The chassis was built on a box-frame.
- A fun fact: in 1929 JAWA was founded in Prague by JAnecek and WAnderer. Frantisek Janecek was owner of an ammunition and weapons factory and wanted to built motorbikes in license.
