"Fox Kits - Fighting Practice" by Patti Deters. Here we have two juvenile baby foxes (Vulpes vulpes) frolicking and playing "fight" in a grassy field. Or perhaps they are overly joyful to see each other and are embracing in a fierce hug? These cute little kits are twin siblings from the same litter and spend their mornings and evenings playing together near their den. Red fox have become common urban animals and are easily identifiable by their orange colored fur, black fore legs, and pointy nose and ears. A light texture has been applied to this photograph for artistic effect and to hide some background distractions.
