W&LE 5413 Upper Sandusky 430 11/14/21

            Every year, Ohio seems to get one big snowstorm in the middle of November. As was the case on Nov. 14, 2021, WE 430 left Lima in a small flurry and was greeted with a winter wonderland by the time they got to Upper Sandusky. Snow certainly helped the late fall foliage stand out! 

Leaving town following the train, I fell in line in a brigade of railfans driving like madmen on sketchy roads just to get ahead of the 40mph DRGW-NKP consist... only for them to hurry up and sit and wait on NS at Bucyrus for 1.5 hours. By then, the snow was mostly done, and most had gone home, understandably. Still a good time.
