Empore der Kloster Andechs Wallfahrtskirche Stk Nikolaus und Elisabeth auf dem 'Heiligen Berg der Bayern

Die heutige Wallfahrtskirche entstand zwischen 1420 und 1430. Sie wurde mehrfach umgebaut und neu errichtet. Grund waren die Schweden im 30 Jährigen Krieg und ein Brand bei dem sie vollkommen ausbrannte. Zum 300 jährigen bestehen wurde durch Johann Baptist Zimmermann, Ignaz Merani und Lorenz Sappel die Kirche in einen farbenfrohe Rokokosaal umgestaltet.
