Cookie - a photo on Flickriver

            My best feathered friend for over 25 years, Rosie, passed away in April. It was way too quiet around here and it was hard passing by an empty cage. So it wasn't long before a little Crimson-bellied Conure entered my life. To say that Cookie's personality is very different than Rosie's would be an understatement. But I appreciate them both for who they are/were. Cookie is still quite young, just shy of 4 months old, so she still has some growing up to do - she won't get her crimson belly until several more months. And so starts another adventure with an avian buddy...and I look forward to it!
