December 2023. Darjeeling, West Bengal, India.

            With the peaks of Mt Kanchenjunga hidden in the afternoon cloud, it was time to focus in on the Kabru north and south peaks (both of which come in at over 7,300 metres). This is such a stunning range of mountains, and the view from Darjeeling (approx 80km away) is superb. I am leaving Darjeeling tomorrow, but I am sure I will be back (for a seventh visit) on my next trip to India. Who knows I might even come back before I head home in a couple of months. 
I title my photos from where they are shot, which also usually means where the subject is located. However in this case not only is the mountain not in the state of West Bengal, it is not even in the same country. These mountains actually sit across the border in Nepal. 

BTW, how good is this Sony G Master 100-400mm lens. I'm not sure I deserve to own it, but I am also not going to complain.
