Another shot from a visit to Kangra Fort last year.

The fort is more than 1000 years old (possibly much older), but most of the internal structures are now in a state of decay, or have been demolished so the stone could be used in the nearby city. The external walls, gates and pathways are still in quite reasonable condition. There is still also a hindu temple in use in the upper part of the fort, and some partial rooms in that area. There is also some restoration work taking place, and a small but informative museum at the visitor entrance level.

As with many historical sites in India, there are some restrictions on what type of camera equipment can be taken in. I've been to this site twice. On the first visit I was allowed to take in my full kit with four lenses, tripod, gopro, gimbal, flashes, etc. On this second trip I was restricted to one body, one lens, no tripod and no flashes.
