New to Nottingham City Transport

Another photo taken in the darkness of Aylesbury bus station and hence of poor quality but interesting subject matter. 5079 was one of two Olympians bought by Nottingham for evaluation, with bodies built to this operator's unmistakable style. They were sold to Southend and onwards to Buffalo of Flitwick in 1990, and passed to The Shires in February 1995, a few months in advance of the takeover of Buffalo's commercial bus services.
