RTX 266 001 // Andernach-shuttle // Zegge, Spoorstraat // 2 augustus 2022

            2 augustus werd er het tripje in de Harz weer in Nederland gehobby’d. Ik had met een paar vrienden in Zegge afgesproken om de Rasselstein-shuttle uit Antwerpen vast te leggen. De trein rijdt gepland met Class 66 en en ook de trein zelf is interessant; de combinatie van containers en staalwagens komt niet vaak voor, iig op het Nederlandse net. 

Na een OV-fiets gehuurd te hebben in Roosendaal fietste ik met Abdon naar Zegge waar Luka en Sjoerd al stonden te wachten. Na het hoogstatief op te hebben gezet kwam het bericht binnen dat de trein uit Antwerpen vertrokken was, wat betekende dat het niet meer lang zou duren totdat ze ons zou passeren. 

Het is 11:29 als de overgang naast ons sluit en het witgroene neusje van de 266 001 in de verte opduikt. Niet veel later passeert ze dan de vier fotografen onderweg naar Venlo waar de grens overgestoken zal worden naar Andernach.
