A big bright summer - a photo on Flickriver

Bright white houses, (usually) blue or colorful windows, not a whole lot of trees, sunny skies, beaches with turquoise water, lots of bougainvilleas and good food (not in this picture though!). I am pretty sure you can find most of these in this picture I took at Vathy beach in Sifnos island in Greece. After enjoying the beach for a few hours, I grabbed my camera and walked past the small pier at the center of the beach to discover the small village after which the beach was named. It was a really hot day but i didn't mind at all. The beach was right there for me to jump in and cool off after my small hike. Summer in Greece is definitely bright.

PS: it's Wednesday and there is at least one window in my photo so HWW!
