Dance of the Aurora - a photo on Flickriver

I really am not sure what to write here. It was one of these moments in life when nature leaves you speechless. The beauty in front of your eyes, if you are willing to see it. Natural phenomena can some times be scary and disastrous, however some other times are breathtaking. Aurora Borealis, or commonly known as Northern Lights is one of them. The science behind this phenomenon is very interesting, almost as interesting as the view of it. Solar winds disturbing earth's magnetosphere resulting in beautiful lights of various colors (usually green) and forms. I really think that this is the most magnificent night picture I have ever taken. And to know that, on that cold night at the Thingvellir National Park just a moderate Auroral activity created such a spectacular sky, makes me want to go back again hoping that I will be lucky enough to be there while the auroral activity will be high!
Iceland sure welcomed me on my first night there..
