Half Dome from Glacier Point - a photo on Flickriver

After three days of warmth and sunshine, the sky quickly began to cloud over on this evening, the second evening of the photography workshop. When we arrived at Glacier Point it was completely overcast and the temperatures were dropping. We were not certain we would see the beautiful sunset glow on Half Dome.

This image was taken while we were waiting to see . . .

If you view larger, you'lll see it is grainy. I was shooting at a high ISO and for some reason did not use my tripod. I had the camera on auto white balance instead of shade so the tones are blue.
