Koala-Eye View

            Perched precariously on the side of the New England Highway and peering through the eucalypts, we see CLF4 and 852 working hard to haul their ten car "Picnic Train" special up towards Ardglen tunnel en-route to Werris Creek.

The tour had been delayed in Murrurundi earlier by an anti-coal protestor blocking a grain train at Ardglen. Police had attended and removed them from the rail corridor allowing the passage of trains on this busy section of track once more.
