42107 Descending Ardglen - a photo on Flickriver

            42107 and EL64 drop down past Ardglen Quarry with 1593 empty ballast from Chullora to Emerald Hill.

Ardglen previously had a rail siding for the loading of ballast from the nearby quarry however this was removed many years ago and little evidence remains.

42107 has been purchased by private interests from previous owner Aurizon and restored in NSW PTC "Reverse" livery. As pictured here it is on hire to Sydney Rail Services for use on Inland Rail ballast train work.
